About this Framework

Welcome to the legal framework for Nothon's GmbH and the Cadence Platform.

This Legal Overview explains how our legal documents are organised and how they relate to one another. Rather than combining all legal information into a single document, we maintain a collection of focused documents, each with a specific purpose.

Some documents apply generally to Nothon's GmbH as a company. Others apply specifically to the Cadence Platform. Together, they form the complete legal framework governing our company, our Platform, and our relationship with users and customers.

Unless otherwise stated, capitalised terms used throughout the Cadence legal documents have the meanings defined in this Legal Overview.

Definitions

Unless otherwise stated, the following definitions apply throughout the Cadence legal framework.

Company

Nothon's GmbH, the legal entity that develops, owns, and operates the Cadence Platform.

Platform

The Cadence Platform, including Cadence Studio, the Cadence Mobile App, APIs, websites, and related online services provided by the Company.

Tenant Organization (Tenant)

An organisation, business, sole trader, or individual that registers for or otherwise uses the Platform to provide services to its own users.

A Tenant Organization is responsible for the administration of its workspace and for the activities performed through it.

Workspace

The isolated environment within the Platform assigned to a Tenant Organization where its users, settings, content, and data are managed.

Administrator

A user authorised by a Tenant Organization to manage its Workspace, users, permissions, settings, subscriptions, and other Platform features.

End User

A person authorised by a Tenant Organization to access or use the Platform, including clients, patients, participants, students, members, or other authorised individuals.

User

Any person who accesses or uses the Platform, including Administrators and End Users.

Account

The credentials and associated profile that allow a User to authenticate and access the Platform.

Subscription

A commercial agreement granting a Tenant Organization access to the Platform under a selected plan, including any applicable add-ons or usage limits.

Content

Any information, data, documents, media, messages, files, images, videos, or other material stored, uploaded, transmitted, created, or otherwise managed through the Platform by or on behalf of a Tenant Organization.

Personal Data

Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, as defined by applicable privacy laws.

Third-Party Service

Any service, software, infrastructure, integration, or application that is not operated by the Company but is used in connection with the Platform.

Updates

Nothon's GmbH may update individual documents within this legal framework from time to time to reflect changes to the Platform, applicable laws, or business practices.

Each document is maintained and versioned independently and includes its own effective date. Updates to one document do not automatically modify the content of the others unless expressly stated.
